Cultivating Lifelong Learners

The CLIMBE classroom is designed to cultivate rigorous learning and student growth, lead by example with forever learning so that students can also lead, inspire and motivate students to be the best versions of themselves, build character and desire to persist, despite setbacks and obstacles and empower students to go beyond where they ever thought they could. It’s about the reach! This blog will capture much of the integrations, activities, projects, travels and other experiences that support this effort. Dr. Gainey is an educator in FL who teaches high school English, as well as two early college courses as an adjunct professor, College Success and General Leadership. His goals are far-reaching, seeking to transform education, students and learning. Dr. Gainey is passionate about singing, acting, gardening as well as other areas of his life, all of which he seeks to use wholly as tools in the classroom. Further, Dr. Gainey believes that learning is perpetual, and happens even without walls. “It’s not just about the teach, it’s about the reach.”
